Computing INTENT

Through our computing curriculum at St Mary’s, we aim to equip our children with the skills and the confidence to be creative, responsible and independent users of computing technologies. Through coding, publishing and creating, the children will become resilient problem solvers. We want to use the technologies across the curriculum to give the children the exposure and enriched opportunities for using different programmes and equipment in their learning. For every child to be digitally literate by the time they leave the school will allow them to flourish in their next stage of education.  This includes, understanding the risks and responsibilities we face when using the internet.
